Marketing Manager - Private Student Loans
Quincy, MA
We are currently seeking someone to fill the position of Product Marketing manager for our private student loan business in our Quincy, MA office, reporting to the COO. The Product Marketing Manager will develop and implement the strategic marketing plan for the private loan product line. He or she will stay abreast of changes in the marketing environment to best serve the objectives of the organization and adjust plans accordingly. The Product Manager will research and develop pricing policies and recommend appropriate sales channels. Requires a bachelor's degree with at least 7 years of marketing experience. Generally manages all aspects of growing the private loan business.
Responsibilities
- Execution of all marketing and customer acquisition activities: strategy, design, budgeting, testing, production, and analysis
- Manage the private loan product presence across a broad portfolio of student loan and education-focused websites
- Coordinate with product managers and customer service representatives on campaigns and customer feedback
- Development of direct mail, advertising, collateral, and other offline marketing materials
- Work with current management team to develop company's overall strategy
- Coordinate media interest in the company
- Monitor the pulse of Edvisors' presence in the marketplace and recommend strategic solutions to ensure a high level presentation of products & services
- Interface with partners and affiliates to design and execute co-marketing campaigns and new product launches
- Track, measure and report on campaign metrics
Qualifications
- 5+ years of student loan or financial services marketing experience, 9-10+ years overall marketing and/or business experience
- Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree with concentration in marketing or management preferred
- Experience with search engine marketing (SEM), search engine optimization (SEO), pay per click (PPC), website development, affiliate marketing, podcasts, blogs, e-mail, web analysis tools
- Demonstrated ability to innovate, increase lead generation and conversion, and deliver bottom-line results
- Past successful execution of offline media campaigns from creation and execution to post-campaign analysis
- Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication skills
